I really dislike this time of year. The days are getting colder and shorter and school work starts piling up... What could be more depressing than that?
However this time of year has one big advantage for me- I get to wear my favourite jean coat and my brand new Hunter booties! They are the perfect shoes for fall!

I think that everybody is sad that summer is over. It's the end of late nights, fun outings and general relaxation! For me it means that I don't get to wear my favourite things in my closet- light summer dresses .  It's time to prepare for colder weather... 
However  as school has  begun that means that it's time to flaunt your fall wardrobe! I think that everybody associates their back-to-school look with particular items. This year for me it's a new pair of converse sneakers and a cool hand-me-down scarf. What's yours?

Here are some of my most desired beauty products. When I go to school I prefer to keep makeup to a minimum , however I wouldn't mind wearing these beauties at outings, special ocasions or even at home!


Oto kilka z moich najbardziej pożądanych produktów. Kiedy jestem w szkole wolę ograniczać makijaż do absolutnego minimum, ale nie przeszkadzałaby mi jego obecność na różne wypady, ważne okazje i do noszenia po domu!


* Miss Dior Cherie L'eau - I first encountered this scente a few weeks ago and immediately fell in love with it. It's so feminine and delicate. Po raz pierwszy napotkałam te perfumy kilka tygodni temu. Natychmiast zakochałam się w ich kobiecości i delikatności.
* OPI Dulche De Leche - Recently I've been experimenting with a colour i call dirty rose. It's more elegant than the  classic pink. Od niedawna eksperymentowałam z kolorem, który nazywam brudnym różem. Jest elegantszy od klasycznego różu.
* Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Boy - The God of all lipstick. It's sophisticated yet young and fun. I would die to have lips that colour! Bogini wszystkich szminek. Jest wyrafinowana, a zarazem młoda i czadowa. Umarłabym by mieć usta tego koloru!
* Chantecaille Les Macarons Face Palette - As youv'e probably noticed I'm a sucker for delicate pinks. I love this eye shadow! Jak już pewnie zauważyliście mam słabość do delikatnego różu. Uwielbiam te cienie.

waiting for life to begin

 My life as a stylish person has officialy begun. Today was the day I wore my new birkin-look-alike. I'm totally in love with it.  Of course nothing can compare to the real Birkin, however I believe I will have to work hard and maybe some day I will deserve it. But for now I'm extreemly happy with my plain  bag. It's the perfect size, very capacious and adds a class to any outfit.  And, I mean after all, who cares about the label? It's all about style and loving what you wear:)

Moje życie jako stylowa osoba oficjalnie się rozpoczęło. Dziś był dniem, w którym po raz pierwszy użyłam mojej torby w stylu Birkin. Jestem w niej zakochana po uszy. Oczywiście nic się nie równa z prawdziwą Birkin, lecz wierzę, że będę musiała ciężko pracować i może pewnego dnia na nią zasłużę. Ale na teraz jestem niezmiernie szczęśliwa z mojej zwyczajnej torby . Jest idealnej wielkości, bardzo pojemna i dodaje elegancji do każdego stroju. Bo w końcu kogo obchodzi czy jest markowa? Najważniejsze jest by kochać to co się nosi:)

Hi everyone! I recently met up with m friends and took part in a swap party. It all began when my friend mentioned that she had a pile of clothes that she was planning to dispose of. My other friend said that she also had a ton of stuff that she wanted to get rid of. I immediately thought of the clothes lying on the floor in my room, most of them haven't been touched for months or worn once in the last couple of years. All of a sudden my friend came up with a brilliant idea of organising a meeting where we would bring clothes and accessories that  no longer have any value to us and swap them for other stuff that caught our eye. It was genius! I'd heard of swap parties before but i never imagined them to be so beneficial( i got a lavender vintage cardigan, a  beige vest, a black polka-dot top, a necklace and a cute little purse) and so much fun! So, let's get swapping!!


Witajcie! Niedawno spotkałam się z przyjaciółkami na tzw. swap party. Wszystko zaczęło się gdy jedna z koleżanek wspomniała o ogromnej stercie ciuchów leżących u niej w pokoju, której miała się niedługo pozbyć. Inna przyjaciółka również wtrąciła, że ma mnóstwo ubrań, których już nie chce. Od razu stanął mi przed oczami stosik ciuchów leżących u mnie na podłodze, z czego większości nie dotykałam przez kilka miesięcy, a nawet kilka lat. Nagle przyjaciółka wpadła pomysł urządzenia spotkania, na które przyniesiemy rzeczy, które nie mają już dla nas znaczenia i wymienimy je za inne rzeczy, które wpadły nam w oko. To było genialne! Wcześniej słyszałam o swapach, ale nigdy nie wyobrażałam sobie, że przyniosą tyle korzyści( dostałam lawendowy sweterek, beżową kamizelkę, czarną bluzkę w kropki, naszyjnik i kopertówkę) i tyle zabawy! A więc, do dzieła. Czas na swapping!

Winter, please go away! I'm sick of snow, ice and below zero temperatures! It's time to let spring shake us up. Maybe if we start dressing like it's spring then winter will be gone.  Let's join our forces and togethetr we can beat this horrid weather.

I'm sorry for this funny photo but at that time it was very windy and raining! It's supposed to be winter... but today it was ten degrees and sunny!! I wish the weather would make up it's mind...

I'm so exited! Our annual winter break beggins tommorow. I can't wait, two weeks of freedom! Yaaaay! After the break there is going to be a lot if work!  But spring is comming...  the flowers, the sun and of course the spring fashion!!

Here is the second part of the spring trend report. Number two on my list is one of the most influential and popular brand Prada. Many people around the globe recognize Miuccia Prada's original designs and whimsical ideas. The most interesting thing I find in the spring summer 2011 collection are the amazing flat oxford styled shoes. Usually high fashion requires very high heels. However this year the runways are showing something different! Maybe it's time to come down closer to the Earth for a little while....
 I also love the basic tailoring. There's nothing better than a well cut dress whith a crazy pattern. That's exactly what Prada is showing this season! I'm absolutely stunned.
This Italian fashion lable is deffinetly one to watch out for this spring!

I found this amazing quote and immediaty fell in love with it. I know it's a little early for getting exited about spring but it's never a bad time to be in a good mood! One of the ways to be in up and about is to wear something that brings you happy memories. I bought this skirt last summer and wore it all the time. This morning I reminded myself: 'Hey, I love that skirt, I felt amazing in it, let's wear it today!' 

It worked!! I had a good day!

Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

A few days ago I just realised that only two more weeks remain until our annual winter break. That thought exited me and made me aware that spring is aproaching which means.... new trends!!

  I've decided to devote a major amount of my time to create a whole new trend myself for the upcoming spring extravaganza. I know designers do it every year. They bring in collections envolving a set of totally new trends that will be fashionable for the whole season!! Just imagine how wonderful it must be to dictate what people are going to put on their back this spring. However I've decided to come up with a trend of my own. I'm still working on it and I'll let you know as soon as it hits me!

  To begin my little runthrough of the major designers trends for the season I've decided to desplay a set of looks by my ultimate favourite designer and inspiration Marc Jacobs. I've always thought of him as a designer with immense creativity and imagination but this years collection blew my mind. Positively of course. I absolutely love the exotic prints and crazy accesories- the belts and the flowers in the hair are mind-boggeling! And the tailoring. Absolutely marvolous!! 

  Soon I will post another set of looks by a different designer. Let the spring fashion extravaganza begin!

  

Not your everyday circumstance

What's up fellow fashion bloggers! After a long period of absence I have decided to return to the virtual runway...

  A lot has happened since my last post! They say a new year brings new begginings, new inspirations... I guess that was the case with me! Maybe I got motivatedo to continue my blog from two amazing books I recieved as Christmas presents. One is called FASHION ( that's a shocker...) and deffinetly deserves the title " THE BIBLE OF FASHION". It contains information and photos of about every known designer in the industry+  a ton of interesting facts on the history of fashion. The other book I got is a biography of Audrey Hepburn. Reading about the life and style of this amazing person made me want to be more like her. I guess one way is to delve even deeper into fashion...

Emerald Express

  This week is going to be tough... I've got two exams( physics and geography- the subjects I loathe the most) and I have to read Macbeth by Shakespeare. I absolutely loved Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet and A Midsummer Night's Dream however Macbeth and I just didn't click. What's so great about ruling the country? I just don't get it... I'm hoping this week will pass in express pase beacuse Friday is the day I've been waiting for for half of this year- the Lady Gaga concert in Sopot! I absolutely can't wait and promise I'll wright something after the concert.

    I'm completely in love with this emerald jacket. It's chic and unique!And the trousers... At first when I saw them I thought they looked like something a clown would wear. But when I combined them with the jacket and the shoes it all seemed so perfect!! I hope you agree! Please let me know!!
