Arabian Nights

Thank God for Friday! After such a dismal week I'm absolutely relieved to come home and begin the weekend. And not any ordinary weekend- this Sunday is Halloween! Continuing the tradition my friends and I decided to go trick-o-treating. Of course we're all getting dressed up! I decided that this year my costume is going to be something special- not scary but mindblowing and mesmerizing.
As I was going through my closet I came across this amazing robe I never paid attention to. The minute I saw it I knew what I was going to do with it! I turned it into my whimsical costume. Beware phantoms! The Arabian Princess is out to get you!!
What's Halloween going to be for you? I hope you come up with some crazy idea!

Fashion Through a Looking Glass part 2

Here is the continuation of my fall fashion frenzy.
Lately I've been obsessed with the look of the oversize jacket and mini shorts. It makes the legs look longer and is generally very feminine. That's why i decided to base my new outfit on that particular combination. Later I decided to ad a touch of colour- red seemed like the perfect accent to spark the clothes up. Last but not least I picked a pair of classic oxford-style shoes- strair from my mothers closet, a classic little black purse and a grey floral headband.
I sincirely hope you like my creation!

Fashion Through a Looking Glass part 1

Life at the turn of October isn't easy. The weather is getting cold, the rain won't stop pouring and  daylight is slowly wanishing into the mist to make room for gloomy darkness.  If that isn't enough the amount of schoolwork we have to put up with just keeps on growing and growing. Sounds awful....
The only thing that keeps me going is the little time I get to spend on reading, watching films and of course fashion. Beacuse of the misery I'm surrounded by I try to make fashion more whimsical than usually.
This time I culled my inspiration from Alice in Wonderland- precisely the character of The Mad Hatter. The top hat belonged to my greatgrandfather. It's such a pity that people don't wear top hats on a daily basis anymore- their so dreamy but at the same time frenzied. I wish I could wear it to school! The dress however belongs to my mother- she lets try it on whenever I want to....
I hope that you will soon find inspiration to change something in your fashion for this fall. Believe me, it makes you feel much happier!

Farewell Summer!

Greetings!

Unfortunetly when people realise that summer is  steping aside to let autumn fully flourish the expressions on their faces radicaly change from happy to sad. There is nothing to be sad about!
Autumn is a one of a kind season that lets us all change. All the designers release their most important acheivment- the fall/winter collection, all the new trends arise and people create a new image of themselves.
I personally love autumn beacuse of the beautiful, warm and rich coloures of the leaves. They just make me want to jump and shout!  I also appreciate the wonderful weather that allows me to wear my favourite clothes- sweaters, boots, berets and many more.

Poland on the world fahion stage

Greatings!
As I enter the world of fashion blogging I would like to emphasise my heritage. Sometimes living in Poland isn't fun- we get all the issues of Vogue and TeenVogue one month in delay, our market is short of many great clothing brands which are available in other countries and an interest in fashion isn't exactly a common thing.
Many people who hear the word "Poland" often think "World War II", "Smoleńsk Tragedy" and "JP II". These are all good associations, but there is much more when it comes to our country.
There are many people who do care about fashion. We have a number of models and designers who take a big part in the international industry. We have Elle Poland- the best magazine accessible, Warsaw Fashion Street- the biggest fashion oriented event of the year and many other interesting happenings. Poland is quite a big country- it's population is approximetly fourty million inhabitants. Somwhere amongst all those people there must be some talented designers, stylists, journalists, photographers and models, right?

Here are my personal favourites. I believe the world of fashion gains a lot having these artists with them.
